What We Believe

What We Believe

We believe that preaching the Gospel in the Reformed Tradition is essential to our worship experience and our mission. The elements of faith, salvation and grace should be central in each worship experience, program, ministry, and mission.

We believe the Church is called to be the body of Christ and to tell the Good News of salvation. FPC is committed to meaningful corporate worship, a vibrant Small Group ministry, Spiritual Outreach Ministry Teams, and other experiences that draw us closer to Christ and to each other – consistent with God’s Word.

We believe the Church is called to be Christ’s evangelists by going into the world and teaching others to observe all of His commands and by demonstrating our love for one another. We do this with community wide Youth and VBS programs, mission trips, and many nurture and fellowship groups within our Church.

We believe our Church is called to be participants in God’s activity in the world through support of healing ministries, ministering to needs of the poor and powerless, and helping to free oppressed people and those who suffer. Our Outreach Ministry Teams and Presbyterian Women keep us informed and provide us with opportunities to serve in these areas.
